Warranty Policy – HLCHome.com, HLC Construction LLC

At HLC Construction LLC (“HLC Construction,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we stand behind the quality of every home we build. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage provided for new homes purchased through HLCHome.com.
1. Workmanship Warranty (1 Year)
For a period of one (1) year from the date of closing, we warrant that your home will be free from defects in workmanship and materials as defined by industry standards.
Examples: drywall cracks, paint touch-ups, flooring installation issues, cabinet alignment, etc.
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic issues not reported within the first year are not covered.
2. Systems Warranty (2 Years)
For a period of two (2) years from the date of closing, we warrant the proper installation and operation of the home’s major mechanical systems, including:
Plumbing
Electrical
HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning)
Repairs or replacements will be made if these systems fail due to faulty installation or materials.
3. Structural Warranty (10 Years)
For a period of ten (10) years from the date of closing, we warrant against major structural defects that affect the load-bearing elements of the home, including:
Foundation and footings
Load-bearing walls and beams
Floor and roof framing systems
This warranty covers only defects that make the home unsafe or unlivable. Cosmetic issues or non-structural components are not included.
4. Exclusions
This Warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic conditions after occupancy.
Damage caused by neglect, misuse, alterations, or lack of maintenance by the homeowner.
Issues caused by natural disasters, extreme weather, flooding, or acts of God.
Appliances, fixtures, and equipment covered by manufacturer warranties.
Landscaping, grading, or drainage changes after closing.
5. Filing a Warranty Claim
All warranty requests must be submitted in writing to contact@hlchome.com
Include a detailed description of the issue and photos if possible.
Emergency issues (plumbing leaks, HVAC failure, electrical hazard) should also be reported by phone at [Your Emergency Number].
We will respond within 5 business days to schedule service or inspection.
6. Transferability
This warranty applies to the original homeowner and may transfer to a subsequent buyer if the home is sold within the warranty periods.
7. Governing Law
This Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
